Innovation in Education Scholarship

LA Tutors awards students who showcase their creativity and make positive impacts with a $500 Innovation in Education Scholarship. On an ongoing monthly basis, this scholarship is open to all currently enrolled high school and college students. Our scholarship is currently listed with hundreds of major universities and colleges, including UC Berkeley, Pepperdine, Michigan State, and many more. Please find below more specific information!
Eligibility requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in high school or college
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (or the equivalent)
- Must be a citizen of, permanent resident of, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada.
Deadline for submission of scholarship application: 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month
Dollar amount of scholarship: $500
Date when scholarship will be awarded: Between the 1st and 15th of the following month
Criteria regarding how scholarship will be awarded
- Submit an essay describing their innovative project (examples include organizing a creative fundraiser to raise money for cancer research or creating an innovative online platform to connect people struggling with depression)
- Provide supporting documentation (e.g. website, news article, letter of recommendation, etc.)
Information about how the student will be notified: The student will be notified by phone and email by the 30th of each month.
