Awarded to Florida Opportunity Scholars (so called at the University of Florida, but called First Generation Scholars at other Florida universities) who have been admitted to the College of Law. In cases where this initial preference cannot be met, the scholarship may be awarded to students who may not be Florida Opportunity Scholars due to residency status, but who otherwise would meet the same qualification standards as a Florida Opportunity Scholar/First Generation Scholar.
Renewal is contingent on maintaining good standing progress toward graduation as determined by an appropriate committee appointed by the Dean of the College.
