Applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students interested in becoming commissioned officers in the US Army.
The scholarships can be used to pay full tuition or room and board on campus. In addition, the scholarships pay $1,200 a year for books and up to a $500 per month stipend.
Annual deadline for 4-year scholarships is December 1; the 2-year and 3-year scholarships are awarded year round.

We run a variety of different scholarship opportunities throughout the year for students in the West Palm area. The financial aid office at the student’s school will receive the scholarship funds to apply to the student’s account.
This scholarship competition runs from 9.10.2014 to 12.31.2014. The next scholarship competition period will begin on 1.1.2014.
“The Value of Community” Essay Competition
For this competition, students should submit a 1,500 -3,000 word essay describing how their community has been valuable in their lives. We encourage applicants to get creative with these essays; we understand that your community can mean a lot of different things, and we want to see what it is that you’ve been inspired by, what it is about that inspiration that has helped you to achieve success, and how you plan to put those values into practice in your future. We’ll post the winning submission to our website, as well as on our social media accounts.
Submissions should be sent us with the subject line “Value of Community Essay Competition | West Palm Beach” in Word or text format.

Students should submit their essay in a .doc, .docx, or .xml format
Must be enrolled at a qualifying two-year or four-year college in the United States
Must be a current or former resident of the West Palm Beach area
Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa
Email submission must include the following information: full name, date of birth, email address, home address, phone number, name of school, and name of parent/guardian (for entrants under the age of 18)
