Sophomores or juniors (five-year programs); national competition involving cumulative GPA, calculus GPA, and completing a six-week course at the Naval Science Institutes in Newport, Rhode Island, the summer before the fall semester of the scholarship.


Value:

tuition, lab expenses, $375 per semester for textbook costs, uniforms, incidental academic expenses and $250/300/350/400 tax-free for freshmen/sophomores/juniors and seniors, respectively, each month of academic year
